In the game of “Project: S.P.E.S.” you play as a 19 year-old that has recently faced a devastating loss. You lost your mom six months ago, leaving you alone in a hostile and unforgiving world.

To be fair, you are not totally alone. Your mom had some close friends (Victoria), and your lifelong friend, Sofia (Sofi) who has seen you struggle has been there for you. What presumably was a friendship now feels much deeper.

You live in an alternate reality that distorts the present-day reality you know. A society split between the wealthy and poor, along with normalcy of slavery and servanthood which was, and is accepted as normal. Society is broken into “Districts”: the first 4 are comprised of the wealthy and powerful, 5-12, level which are poorer. You live in District 6, which is poverty-stricken and lacks opportunity.

Then, one day a phone call changes everything. A phone call from a college in District 2. A college which seems distant from reality. So, this is opportunity, but in such a ruthless world, every opportunity has a price. Whether the opportunity is worth the price only time will tell.
