Life is Vanilla is an adult visual novel about a guy’s story about navigating through his late teens/early 20’s, part real-life and part fiction. The inspiration of the game comes from shows like How I Met Your Mother,- with a focus on humor, light-hearted storytelling and character development. The game’s narrative focuses on the character learning about relationships, confidence, and finding his place in life.

The prologue introduces the main character at 18 years-old and a virgin, and follows him as he awkwardly, and humorously, loses his virginity, drawing heavy inspiration from real-life experiences.
